One of GCRI’s goals is to provide a forum for international experts to network, exchange ideas, present their research, and collaborate in order to address some of the critical challenges of the 21st century. In this spirit, we encourage institutions and individuals interested in confronting these challenges to plan an event with the GCRI. We welcome interesting cross-disciplinary event topics, as well as innovative event formats.
The German House, located at 871 United Nations Plaza in Midtown Manhattan, offers several event spaces, including smaller conference rooms, a large auditorium, and a restaurant. Catering for all events in the German House is offered in-house by Elderberry Catering Company.
To plan an event with the GCRI, please fill out either our 2015 application or our 2016 application for a co-sponsored event and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org. GCRI will give preference to event proposals in the following four 2015 focus areas: aging, robotics and artificial intelligence, ethics and science, and e-health. In 2016, GCRI will give preference to event proposals in the areas of AI/robotics, neuroscience, Big Data, and smart sustainable cities.
Event application deadlines:
March 15, June 15, September 15, and November 15.
Applicants will be informed within one month.
Specific event questions should also be directed to email@example.com.
