German Universities Liaison Offices

German University Liaison Offices New York City

Since 2005 the German House New York has been home to liaison offices of German universities. With the support of DAAD, more than 25 individual German universities and universities of applied sciences are represented here, either individually or within consortia, working closely with all other GCRI-affiliated institutions in New York. Their goals range from intensifying research collaboration between German universities and North American partners, enhancing student exchange and increasing the numbers of international students and faculty at German institutions of higher education to building strong transatlantic alumni networks. The liaison offices are excellent sources of information on exciting research and study opportunities in Germany as well as gateways to connect with scientists at these institutions.
