Germany is a land of ideas where education, science and research play a central role. It is also one of the most popular destinations in the world for international students. There is a wealth of funding available for graduate and doctoral students interested in studying, working, or doing an internship in Germany. Selected scholarships, programs, and other funding opportunities from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), the Cultural Vistas (CV), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the German-American Fulbright Commission (Fulbright), the Helmholtz Association (Helmholtz), the Leibniz Association (Leibniz), the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (MPG) and others are listed in alphabetical order below.
